So here's my question: How do I actually enter the path to the file in Terminal? I did as you described, named the txt file "new_mand" and placed it on the desktop for this test. Hm, sorry for being daft, but I have exactly zero of an idea about how Terminal commands work (so I always just copy them from whomever should I need something), but this looks interesting as it's an annoying issue. The 'sleep 1.5' command just helps to prevent Terminal respawning the window during the next session because it quit too soon. The 'killall Terminal' line will quit the Terminal app altogether, so if you were in the middle of using it for something else then you might want to be aware of that. Double clicking the file is all you need to do once it's set up. command, and made it executable by typing chmod +x /path/to/mand into terminal (obviously replacing the path with the actual path to the file). That will force Pro Tools to re-scan all the plug-ins in that folder.ġ. If it does show up in the plug-ins folder but Pro Tools still doesn’t see it, try trashing Pro tools preferences. If they don’t show up there, try download and/or install them again. If BIAS FX 2 plug-in isn’t in the list, make sure it shows up in the Pro Tools Plug-ins folder using the directions below. Note: If the plug-in or manufacturer’s name is not listed within the plug-in menu, then plug-in is not detected by Pro Tools. Open the Mixer Window in Pro Tools (Go to View → Mix Window ), then go the the insert section on the guitar tracks and click Insert A to view the plug-in menu and see if you can find BIAS FX 2 plug-ins via the path : plug-in -> Harmonics -> BIAS FX 2 *Pro Tools First does not support 3rd party plugins.Ģ. ![]()
